Holiday Accommodation In Cornwall

If you are regular visitor to our Holiday Park here in Cornwall then you'll know about our accommodation already. If you are a first time visitor then let me start by welcoming you to our web site. Today's article is entitled "Holiday Accommodation Cornwall" because it came up in conversation the other day with a friend of mine and we briefly discussed what that actually meant to people. As someone with years of experience in this business I can't really be objective anymore so it's difficult for me to think about it from the outside looking in. However it was my suggestions that the phrase "holiday accommodation" might suggest cottages or farmhouses, and not necessarily draw out images of caravans and tents. There is something about the word accommodation which seems to imbue a permanency which one couldn't associate with the more temporary idea of pitching a tent or towing a caravan. Of course these days caravans aren't just something we tie to the back of our cars before spending 5 nights of the week crushed into the limited space they provide like sardines on their holidays. They are more akin to second homes, even Summer homes, or even permanent residences for some!

Despite this, and the rather luxurious tents it's possible to buy these days I still can't help but feel "holiday accommodation" as being more applicable to guesthouses, bed and breakfasts and self-catering cottages.
