There are many reasons why people choose to spend their holidays in Cornwall but the first thing people tend to think of when you mention a Cornish holiday is of the surfing and other watersports which the region is famous for. One the most flexible ways to take your vacation in Cornwall is to go on self catering holidays as you aren't restrained by set meal times; which means you can steal an extra hour on the jet ski, or surfing the waves.

Clear seas and warm waters provide the perfect environment for exploring the depths which are literally teaming with marine life. In March of 2004 the HMS Scylla, a retired Royal Navy frigate, was deliberately sunk off the Plymouth coast in order to create a man-made reef for divers. Since that time the wreck has matured, attracting sea life and divers alike. We've heard many good reports from people having been down to the frigate and have seen some beautiful photography taken by some of our holiday guests. It's a perk of our job that we get to hear first hand about some of the attractions in our area. Of course a dive such as this requires training and practice as inexperienced divers could put themselves and others in danger.
